Wrapping up the discovery phase

Over the past few months we have been working to ensure that all the organizational pieces are in place to make this project successful including 1) onboarding new team members, 2) briefing key decision-makers on the proposed path forward and 3) organizing sessions to help the broader team gain a strong understanding of the vendor landscape (and recent developments in the HR tech space). This work has been key since our initial engagement with the City and County of San Francisco is wrapping up and the project is getting closer to implementation.

We end this phase honored to have had the opportunity to work on this project with so many great City employees and incredibly thankful to leadership and staff for all their time and support and to have trusted us with this initiative. Looking towards the future, we couldn’t be more excited about the path ahead and are hopeful that we will have the opportunity to work on the hiring modernization project again!

As a quick recap for those who joined late (or those who need a refresher), we have tried to bring another perspective looking at the hiring process through a more user-centered lens and to approach HR in a more data-driven way. More specifically, here are some of the key milestones met along the way:

We care a lot about this project so never hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or want to discuss any of the research included above. We look forward to being in touch!
